Dr. Janine Granados

Audiologist

Dr. Janine Granados received her Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2022 and her Bachelor in Science from the University of Arizona in 2016.

She completed her internship at Expert Hearing Care in Las Cruces, New Mexico from 2021 through 2022 and continued to work there through 2024. She has served patients of all ages but particularly enjoys helping adult patients regain access to sound and improve their lives through the use of hearing devices.

Dr. Granados grew up in Portland, Oregon and moved to Tucson, Arizona with her family after completing high school. She now lives in Las Cruces with her husband, dog, and two cats. In her free time she enjoys exercising, hiking, and reading.

Dr. Matthews, his assistant and that Francis lady upfront at the main desk are just the greatest. I just love Francis. She’s the greatest. I just recently had an appointment. This was after trying a couple other area audiologist who were only interested in selling me new hearing aids! Dr. Lyon checked my hearing and reprogrammed my hearing aids that were purchased in another state along with filling me in on some interesting facts. My hearing aid had malfunctioned, and without my device I have a very difficult time discerning speech or sounds. After a Google search we discovered Southwest Hearing. We drove the sixty miles to Alamogordo and went directly to their office. This was a cold call, no appointment, etc. They took my device and quickly determined the problem. In less than 5 minutes the device was repaired and much to my relief all was resolved and I could hear. A sense of urgency and professionalism is at the top of their list.
